What Can You Expect During and After a Plasma IQ Treatment?
The process begins with a complimentary consultation with one of our expert team members who will meet to discuss your individual needs and concerns and determine the ideal treatment plan for your personal goals. Prior to the procedure, the treatment area will be cleansed and numbed using a numbing cream.
After the numbing takes effect, your provider will cleanse the skin with an antiseptic and make sure the treatment area is completely dry. Treatment is typically completed in under 30 minutes (depending on the number of areas treated).
Immediately following treatment there may be a sun burn-like sensation in the treated area. This is normal and typically lasts for about an hour, but this may vary slightly by individual.
The Plasma Energy leaves behind “carbon crusts” or tiny scabs that act as a natural biological protection to your skin while it is healing and regenerating.
This will last for 5-7 days following treatment, and patients should not pick at or scratch at scabs during the healing phase as it may delay healing or affect outcomes. A post-care kit will be provided to help you achieve optimal healing and results.
